The Franklin City Board of Public Works handled routine procedural business at its Feb. 10 meeting, approving prior minutes, accepting nominations by acclamation and adjourning.
The board moved and seconded approval of the minutes for meetings on Sept. 9 and Oct. 2, 2025; the motion passed by voice vote. The floor was opened for nominations for chairperson; with no alternative nominations the nominee was accepted by acclamation. Board members discussed whether the elected term should start in October (as originally scheduled) or run from the current February to next February; staff advised terms continue from October to October. Ken Skoransky was nominated, accepted and confirmed by acclamation as board recorder.
With no additional future agenda items, a motion to adjourn passed by voice vote; the meeting ended at 06:27.
