San Angelo Development Corporation names Mahaffey president; Lassiter named second vice president

The chair recommended First Vice President Mahaffey be nominated as president, that Second Vice President Rodriguez move into the first vice president seat, and the board nominated Lorenzo Lassiter to fill the second vice president role. "I nominate Lorenzo Lassiter into second vice president," the chair said; Lassiter accepted.
Board members moved and seconded the nominations and approved the slate by voice vote. The board chair then turned the meeting over to the newly elected president Mahaffey, who thanked the outgoing officer and described a continued emphasis on transparency and fiscal responsibility.
The reorganization was presented as an internal staffing matter to ensure continuity of leadership; no separate motion to modify bylaws or terms was proposed. The board resumed the agenda after the officer appointments were confirmed.
