Revised B & B Theater elevations meet proffer guidelines, commissioners ask about landscaping

He concluded the new elevations are "in substantial conformance with the proffers."
Commissioner Querrey asked explicitly: "Are they gonna put bushes around the building?" and said she preferred additional greenery to soften the building’s appearance. Berry and Barry acknowledged site constraints (utility lines and tight setbacks) limit planting in some areas but said shrubs will be added along the Manassas Drive retaining wall so the Manassas Drive-facing facade will have plantings.
No formal approval vote on the elevations was recorded at this meeting; the presentation was informational and staff considered the redesign an improvement.
