Summary
The Board of Zoning Adjustment voted to reopen the record in application 21360 to accept narrowly tailored supplemental materials and scheduled a limited-scope public hearing for Feb. 25; responses to the supplemental filing are due Feb. 19. The motion carried on a 3–0–2 roll-call vote.
The District of Columbia Board of Zoning Adjustment on Feb. 11 agreed to reopen the record in application 21360 and to hold a limited-scope public hearing on Feb. 25 to consider supplemental materials submitted by the applicant. Chair Carl Blake said the supplemental filings revise the application to remove side‑yard relief and that the additional materials might assist the board as it finishes deliberations.
The board recorded that the supplemental materials will be noticed to parties (including the affected ANC and any parties in opposition) and that responses to the supplemental filing will be due by Thursday, Feb. 19. Chair Blake moved to reopen the record and to transfer the case from the decision meeting calendar to a limited‑scope hearing; the motion was seconded by Board member Britney Drakeford and carried by roll call, recorded as 3–0–2 in favor.
The board emphasized that the scope of the Feb. 25 hearing will be strictly limited to the amendments described in the applicant’s supplemental materials and any responses from parties. Chair Blake said the board will accept public testimony at that hearing but will not re‑litigate issues outside the supplemental submission. The Office of Zoning will notify parties and post the updated schedule on the Office of Zoning website.
