The Pinellas Park City Council on Feb. 10 adopted Resolution 2026‑06, vacating an unused, landlocked right of way adjacent to 11203 49th Street North in the Knoll’s Farms subdivision.
Senior planner Todd Byron showed maps and told council the right of way was platted in 1911, “is not improved nor used by the public” and is landlocked from improved roadways. He said utility providers supplied letters of no objection and abutting property owners were notified. Byron said the request meets the right‑of‑way vacation criteria in the land development code (section 18‑18 o 1) and that the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval on Jan. 15, 2026.
Council moved to adopt the resolution on first and final reading; the motion carried unanimously in the recorded roll call. The action will be recorded in the public records of Pinellas County consistent with the resolution language.
