House Sunset Committee Renews Construction Recruitment Institute for Two Years

Following discussion, a motion to approve the renewal as presented was made and the committee gave the bill a favorable report by voice vote. The committee recorded the renewal and the expectation that the institute will report its progress within one year.
The committee did not adopt statutory text changes during the hearing; members asked staff to ensure the bill’s language properly separates private corporate status from any public authority or funding mechanism.
