A house petition from Michelle L. Badger concerning transfer of retirement benefits for Val Valeria D'Orazio of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy was received and referred to the Committee on Public Service. The Senate also adopted an order to adjourn in memory of Gerard W. Moynihan and recognized Sweet Paws Rescue for its 15th anniversary and new facility.
