Lincoln School Committee recognizes soccer player Elaine Joy for regional and state honors

During the meeting Superintendent Dr. Bagadharos presented a citation recognizing student athlete Elaine Joy.
Elaine Joy was cited for selections to first-team All-State by the Providence Journal, first-team Allstate by the Rhode Island World Soccer Coaches Association, and the all-region team by the United Soccer Coaches Association. The superintendent noted Elaine helped guide the Lions to a No. 5 seed and the school’s first-ever appearance in the Division 1, second-class state tournament.
The student was not present at the meeting because of a team practice. The committee offered congratulations.
