He added that Pirates Cove will close during weekdays in August to allow construction to proceed but will remain open on weekends.
Budget status: Hemmelheinz reported that of the $41,500,000 bond authorization, "so far, they've spent 4.9% of the bond money," and that some discretionary funds remain uncommitted. He encouraged members and residents to consult Englewood Engaged for detailed project updates.
Next steps: staff will continue to coordinate with Parks & Rec on schedules and communicate planned service impacts to recreation users in advance; the commission will monitor Miller Park stormwater resolution before major construction can proceed.
