Commissioners conditioned that award on staff verifying the cost to finish both bathrooms in the future and confirming available funding; the formal contract award will be delayed until that review is complete.
Commissioners discussed whether to rebid packages to let one contractor perform both plumbing and concrete to gain efficiencies; legal and procurement constraints about rebidding and lowest responsive bidder processes were discussed and the board accepted staff's recommended awards to the low bidders.
