Contracts and procurement: Public works staff recommended awarding the weeds-and-trash abatement contract for fiscal 2026 to AMA Services LLC. Staff explained the apparent lower bids included add-on hourly fees and potential rental or disposal charges, while AMA’s $300/hour bid was presented as all‑inclusive; the council approved awarding the contract.
Property and code-enforcement actions: Council approved an order of determination to address weeds and trash at a property listed as 401 South Roosevelt after staff reported mailings and attempts to contact owners.
