Edinburg council certifies Nov. 4 election, schedules Dec. 13 runoff

The Edinburg City Council on Nov. 12 formally canvassed and certified the results of the Nov. 4 municipal election, declaring Omar Ochoa the winner of the mayoral race and certifying winners for two council seats, and set a runoff election for Dec. 13, 2025.

City staff presented certificates of election for the winners and certified the names of runoff candidates to be placed on the Dec. 13 ballot.
