Representative Cornwell asked Representative Turner to present House Bill 3143, which Turner described as an extension of the moratorium for marijuana licensees with an effective period read into the record.
"41 or 31 43 is just an extended extension of the moratorium for the marijuana lisonbee. Begin 08/01/1926, expiring 08/01/1928," the presenting member said.
Members moved for passage and the clerk called votes by name (members recorded included Culver, Hornwell, Dollins and Marty); the chair declared the motion passed by a majority of votes present.
The bill will proceed to the next legislative stage.
