Centre County approves $35,000 opioid‑settlement contract renewal for Rule 62 Club recovery services

Kathy said the group completed clubhouse renovations and will use the funding for furnishings and kitchen supplies.
Kathy and commissioners described Rule 62 as a well‑run grassroots organization that hosts multiple recovery meetings and serves a high volume of clients; Kathy said they are seeing as many as 200 people a week and currently host about 20 different meetings weekly. Commissioners voiced support and approved the contract renewal by voice vote.
Next steps: staff will execute the contract and monitor expenditures to support the clubhouse mission.
