Other actions: the board approved the minutes from the regular meeting (12/17/2025) with Judge Madavic recorded as abstaining; it accepted the warden's report (which recorded an average monthly population of 138 and 132 inmates in December — 110 males and 22 females) and it approved the personnel report. All three motions were seconded and passed by voice vote.
Board members asked procurement and budget questions during discussion, including whether advertising a formal bid (estimated advertising cost cited around $400) would be required and whether replacing both back units now is more cost-effective than piecemeal replacements.
