Board member Mister Young read a proclamation recognizing November 2025 as National Veterans and Military Families Month and cited that Henrico County Public Schools serves approximately 474 military-connected students, including active-duty service members, reservists and National Guard members. "The school board of Henrico County Public Schools recognizes November 2025 as National Veterans and Military Families Month," Young read.
Board member Miss Atkins then read a proclamation designating November 2025 as Family and Community Engagement Month, stating the division's commitment to strengthening partnerships between schools, families and community partners and encouraging participation in activities that support student learning and well-being.
