Volunteer compiles nearly 2,000 names to recreate Dearborn County World War II billboard

Jennifer Fulton, a volunteer with the Dearborn County Historical Society, told the records committee she has compiled nearly 2,000 names from DD214s, county and state archives and newspaper records as part of a project to recreate a World War II veterans billboard that once stood near Newtown Park.
"And, and so we're approaching 2,000 now," Fulton said, describing work done with the recorder's office, the Veterans Administration and newspaper research to fill gaps in the list.
