Rezoning for 135 Breckenridge Drive placed on next voting agenda after regional planning approval

Commissioner Josh Rogers placed a resolution in the form of a motion to rezone a parcel at 135 Breckenridge Drive NW from FAR (Forestry Agriculture Residential) to R-2 (High Density Residential) and asked that the item be added to the commission's next voting-session agenda.

Rogers described the parcel using the tax map identifier given in the packet and warned commissioners that the map in the agenda packet is incorrect and should be replaced with the handout he distributed. "This resolution to rezone from FAR Forestry Agriculture Residential District to R 2, high density residential district property located at 135 Breckenridge Drive Northwest and identified by tax map 021Parcel053Dot3," Rogers said. He also stated the proposal "was approved unanimously by the regional planning commission." The commission did not vote on the rezoning at this meeting; Rogers said he had placed it "in form of a motion on the next voting session agenda."
