Later in the meeting, Sergeant Olmets provided a police update about a separate multi‑jurisdictional pursuit initiated by a Wisconsin agency. Olmets said officers were asked to locate a homicide suspect who fled into Otsego, deputies deployed spike strips that disabled the vehicle's tires, and the car ultimately left the roadway and stopped; Olmets described the ending as "anticlimactic" and said there were no further incidents.
