Upson County approves $180,305 in VOCA and VAWA grant funding for district attorney's office

"We just need to have your approval to receive $140,305 for the VOCA grant and $40,000 for the VAWA grant," the presenter told the board. Commissioners moved and approved the acceptance by recorded vote.
The board did not attach conditions in the meeting transcript; accepting the grants authorizes the district attorney's office to receive the funds and proceed under the standard grant terms. Acting district attorney David Studdard thanked the board for the support.
