Board honors Thornton student of the year and two championship teams

The meeting also included recognition for the Bar City 12th‑grade football team for an AOLL division championship and for Coach Nick Dory, who was named coach of the year. Student leaders and coaches accepted certificates and the board applauded the teams’ efforts on and off the field.
