Road bureau staff asked for permission to prepare bid specifications to replace an older welding truck and said a lightly used demo Lincoln welder was available for $7,000; alternatives included newer truck models (estimates of roughly $62,000–$80,000 plus $15,000–$20,000 for the bed) and new welders priced higher. Commissioners discussed timing and budget implications and asked staff to prepare specifications.
Other routine items included a dealer deeds fee sheet, a letter to Lewis Company with notice to proceed following a pre-construction meeting, two sick-leave donation forms, and arranging assessor signatures. The commission adjourned after a final motion and an affirmative voice vote.
