The Village of Beecher swore in two new municipal employees on Feb. 9. Heidi Dimas was appointed and sworn in as deputy village clerk; she repeated the oath of office to support the U.S. and Illinois constitutions and to faithfully discharge the duties of deputy village clerk.
Nicholas Meakin was sworn in as a police officer for the Village of Beecher and took the same oath. Board members congratulated the new appointees following the ceremonies.
Both appointments were presented and carried with a motion and supporting roll-call procedures consistent with board practice.
