The Cherokee Nation Culture Committee confirmed a quorum during roll call and the chair asked for approval of the minutes from the previous meeting; the motion was called and no further discussion was recorded. The committee received reports from cultural tourism, language services, community outreach and the Cherokee National Treasures Advisory Committee.
Savannah Smith said the Fiscal Year 26 CCO participating list has been finalized and posted to the website. Jane Oste, as part of the Cherokee National Treasures Advisory Committee, reported on recent mentor and awards activity and the committee's work to keep traditions alive.
The chair then asked for a motion to adjourn, called for a second and, after asking 'All in favor?', closed the meeting. There were no recorded votes on ordinances, budgets or formal policy changes during the session.
