The House Finance Committee voted 10–1 to route House Bill 1005 to the Appropriations Committee after members agreed the bill had been incorrectly assigned under the routing memo.
The vice chair moved to transfer the measure and Representative Camacho seconded the motion. The committee recorded a 10–1 vote in favor of routing the bill to Appropriations.
The chair noted the routing error and indicated staff would notify Representative McCormick, who was nearby, so she could join for the Committee’s consideration of subsequent items.
The committee then proceeded to consider House Bill 1015. No further debate on HB1005 was recorded.
