Wayne County Sheriff's liaisons outline outreach, leave resources for Dearborn

Johnson left informational brochures for residents and said the department looks forward to working with Dearborn's police department on collaborative outreach.
Fairfax Moore described her background in neighborhood liaison work and community policing, noting she previously served about 25 years with the Detroit Police Department. "Anything you need, again, on behalf of Sheriff Ray Washington ... we look forward to working with all of you," she said, and urged residents to contact their liaisons with questions.
Chief of Police Issa Shaheen later told a public commenter that Dearborn dispatchers are trained as emergency medical dispatchers and explained the unified dispatch center serves roughly 300,000 residents across six communities.
Ending: The representatives left contact cards and resource guides for residents and said they intend to continue outreach visits to Dearborn.
