Council confirms several URA and commission appointments; certified HUTF mileage

The Monte Vista City Council approved a slate of appointments and several administrative actions at its regular meeting.
Council first modified the agenda to add an appointment to the Urban Renewal Authority, then approved appointments including Mani Shoaf and Cheryl Smith to the URA and Justin Pepper and Damian Arellano to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Staff said the city certified 29.498 miles of HUT‑eligible streets; staff estimated the certification corresponds to roughly $150,153 in annual reimbursements.
