Murrysville Borough Council approved two routine action items during the meeting: advertising to fill a Parks & Recreation Commission vacancy and advertising an ordinance to accept streets in the Hillstone Village development into the municipal road system.
Council moved and seconded a resolution to advertise to fill the Parks & Recreation Commission vacancy (term to expire Dec. 31, 2024). Council approved the motion unanimously.
On a separate item, council moved to advertise Ordinance No. 1092-24, which would accept the following streets in Hillstone Village — North Valley Court, South Valley Court, Harrison Court, Hillstone Village Drive and Clubhouse Court — into the borough’s road system. Staff reported the engineering department inspected construction and found it met municipal standards; council authorized advertisement and the motion passed unanimously.
No appointments or final ordinances were adopted at the meeting; both items were authorized for public advertisement as the next procedural step.
