"We are here to let you know that we are doing some incredible upgrades to Tippin's Pond," Roberts said.
Roberts said additional work is planned: the township will make further improvements to the trail and add two fountains in the pond. She described the fountains as intended to "add clarity to the pond and attract wildlife." Commander Martinez joined the announcement at Tippin's Pond and participated in presenting the site improvements.
No formal votes, permits, funding sources, timelines for the remaining work or operational details for the dock and fountains were stated in the remarks. The announcement invited residents to visit and use the upgraded facilities at Tippin's Pond.
