Mayor Nikki Roberts opens Paratus bakery in Pennsauken, praises companys local investment

Mayor Nikki Roberts presided over a ribbon-cutting Thursday to mark the opening of what she described as the companys first independent bakery in Pennsauken Township, praising the businesss local investments and its work with a high school baking program.

Roberts said the bakery opening represents both an economic and community milestone. "Its an honor to stand here with you today as we cut the ribbon on yet another exciting chapter," she said, calling the company "more than just a business neighbor." The mayor framed the site as a symbol of opportunity and local growth.

Roberts highlighted the companys role in workforce development, citing support for Pennsauken High Schools "flagship baking program." "Youre not only sharing your expertise, youre helping to build the next generation of skilled professionals and entrepreneurs right here in our own backyard," she said.
