Suamico board accepts Sheedy Farms Phase 3, allows building permits

The Village of Suamico Village Board voted unanimously Feb. 3 to accept Sheedy Farms Phase 3 as constructed, enabling the village building department to issue building permits for units in the new subdivision.
Director Smits told the board staff has inspected the project, that the roadway was named Evelyn Rose Lane, and that the village will accept the project contingent on completion of a final punch list and observance of a one-year warranty on improvements. Smits said staff will wait until 70% vegetative cover is established next summer before releasing the developer from remaining project obligations.
Trustee Andrews moved to accept the development as it currently stands and allow building permits to be released; the motion was seconded and passed by unanimous roll call, 7–0.
The acceptance is procedural and intended to allow permit issuance; outstanding punch-list items and the one-year warranty remain conditions of final developer release.
