Ocean Shores Library Board approves agenda, minutes and reelects officers

The Ocean Shores Library Board opened its February meeting with routine business, approved the meeting agenda and accepted the minutes of the Dec. 10 meeting.

During the meeting trustees moved and seconded approval of the agenda and the minutes; the chair called for the vote and members answered in the affirmative. A trustee requested that Gail Johnson be recorded as excused because she is out of the country; the record was noted.

Trustees then held the scheduled election of officers. Board members said they had been asked in advance whether they wished to remain in their roles; Jeff agreed to serve as president, Becky agreed to serve as vice president and Alex agreed to serve as secretary. The board voted to reelect those officers.

There were no contested nominations reported on the record and no formal roll-call tally given in the transcript. The meeting concluded after reports and a motion to adjourn; the chair closed the session following an aye vote.
