Dwyer described staffing levels, enrollment and capital priorities and noted that a final state revenue calculator will be used to adjust numbers before final adoption in September. Commissioners thanked the principal and PTO for fundraising and approved the tentative budget by motion and voice vote.
Because the town owns the school property, the commission’s action pertains to approving the school’s tentative budget and not to day‑to‑day school funding decisions, which Dwyer said are sourced through state allocations and grants.
