Planning commission approves minutes and adjourns after two rezoning recommendations

At the start of the meeting the commission moved and approved the minutes from its Jan. 27 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
Later, the commission recommended approval of the Grandview community master plan/planned area development (PLZZ-23-0016) and approved modified stipulations for Project H2O (PLZM-25-0107). Both items were presented by staff and the applicants, and no members of the public spoke during either public hearing. The commission’s recommendations will be forwarded to mayor and city council for final action; staff noted annexation is required for portions of the Grandview site that lie in Maricopa County.
The meeting concluded after a brief plan manager report (staff noted an upcoming rezoning called "Buck 83" on the next agenda) and short commissioner remarks; the chair adjourned the meeting.
