Council approves reimbursement resolution for 2025 general obligation bond expenses

The Town of Maryville approved Resolution 26-03 on Feb. 10, authorizing and approving reimbursement for expenses incurred in advance of the sale of the 2025 general obligation bonds that were authorized in Ordinance 25-30. Town finance staff explained the paperwork and timing satisfied the 60-day lookback period and that the reimbursement covered, among other items, the purchase of two vehicles.
Councilor Pettit moved the resolution, the motion was seconded, and the roll call vote was 7–0 in favor. Staff said the reimbursement process 'ties the loop' on the bond accounting and that all documentation was in order.
What’s next: The reimbursement will be processed consistent with bond documents; no further council action was scheduled at the meeting.
