"Authorize a transfer of $1,000,000 from the solid waste fund to the CD at Comer Community Bank of Louisiana to cover the new estimated cost for amendment number 9 of the standby trust agreement ... pursuant to LDEQ requirements," the committee packet stated and jurors approved the motion.
The committee also authorized the president to sign an extension of a waste supply agreement with Upland Road developers to support development of a recycling center in DeSoto Parish. Committee members discussed no further conditions and the motions passed on voice votes.
Next steps: Treasurer/administration will execute the transfer, record the amended trust agreement documents and finalize the recycling center agreement extension.
