San Bernardino Fatherhood expands local parenting programs; daddy‑daughter dance set for March 14

The group holds a number of annual events; Berryman said SB Fatherhood’s ninth annual daddy‑daughter dance will be held March 14 at the National Orange Show, with the program running approximately 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are available on Eventbrite, he said. The organization also runs classes in partnership with the Rialto Unified School District: Berryman said the 24/7 Dad program is offered in Rialto on Tuesdays and Thursdays from roughly 5:30–7:30 p.m., and boot camp sessions are held in San Bernardino, Apple Valley and Fontana.
Berryman said SB Fatherhood also participates in wider convenings: the group recognizes June as Fatherhood Well‑Being Month following U.S. House recognition (H.R. 36) and plans an Inland Empire fatherhood weekend and a leadership summit where the National Fatherhood Initiative will present a community mobilization approach.
Berryman asked fathers and father figures across demographics to participate and described small‑group and mentorship approaches—such as pairing experienced “vet dads” with new fathers—to share practical parenting skills, safe‑sleep practices and perinatal support.
