Board appoints Dr. Byron Williams as Nicolette Middle School assistant principal

Davis noted Williams is a Banning High graduate, served eight years in the military, and earned a doctorate in education (Curriculum and Instruction) from Liberty University along with two master’s degrees.
Dr. Williams thanked the board for the appointment: "It is a great honor and a great privilege to be part of this school district...I am honored and elated, to begin the work that needs to be done. Thank you so much for the appointment, and let's go." Trustees welcomed him and expressed expectations for positive change at Nicolette Middle School.
Next steps: Dr. Williams will assume his duties at Nicolette Middle School per the district’s personnel timetable.
