Nevada City Council approves bond steps, infrastructure payments, playground purchase and security upgrade

The Nevada City Council on Feb. 13 approved multiple items including additional action on a proposal to enter into a general obligation corporate purpose loan agreement and for the levy of taxes to pay general obligation corporate purpose bond series 2026A (Resolution No. 42). Council moved, seconded and approved the resolution.
Council also approved two routine infrastructure payments: pay request No. 4 for the Tributary to West Indian Creek SRF project B from Construct Inc. for $3,567.60 and pay request No. 5 for West Indian Creek SRF project A from RW Excavating Solutions for $24,007.50. Staff said the SRF A project is nearly complete but reseeding work was delayed by spring flooding.
