Co‑owner Song Choi said licensing discussions with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture are underway and that the agency "shouldn't take too much time," estimating about "2 weeks or 3 weeks" once an application is submitted. Choi also said the full buildout could support roughly 15 employees but the operation will be phased, with only two greenhouses planned in the first year.
Commissioners questioned restroom and parking arrangements. Staff said building code does not require permanent restroom facilities for the proposed agricultural use, so the applicants proposed portable toilets during early operations; Choi said the number could increase if more employees are present. Staff and a commissioner addressed parking, and the applicant said designated employee and customer parking spots could be added as the project phases in. A motion requiring that necessary licenses and permits be shown before final approval passed by voice vote.
The approval is conditional on the applicant providing the required licenses/permits and satisfying standard staff conditions; no variances or waivers were recorded at the meeting.
