Council selects seven applicants to fill new planning commission slots

After tallying individual nominations, staff announced the seven candidates to be invited back for formal appointment at the March 12 meeting: Danielle Anderson; Tracy Buxton; Chuck Coleman; Michelle Curry; Barton De Lacy; Colleen Grama; and Nicole Gunkel.
Why it matters: The planning commission will advise the council on land-use and planning matters under a newly updated municipal code; the selections advance the implementation of that commission but the council will conduct formal appointments and hear introductions at the next regular council meeting.
