Babylon board reserves decisions on two tax-exemption hearings, adopts slate of resolutions unanimously

Again, no speakers submitted cards; Councilman Martinez moved and Councilman McSweeney seconded a motion to close the hearing and reserve decision. The presiding officer announced the hearing was closed and that a decision was reserved.
After the public hearings, the board considered its agenda and adopted the consent resolution agenda as presented. The following resolutions were moved, seconded, and approved (recorded roll calls or voice votes as noted): Resolution 150 (roll call approved 5–0), Resolution 151 (roll call approved 5–0), Resolution 152 (roll call approved 5–0), Resolution 153 (approved by voice vote), Resolution 154 (approved by voice vote), Resolution 156 (approved by voice vote), and Resolution 157 (approved by voice vote). The clerk recorded yes votes from Councilman Mineta, Councilman Martinez, Councilman McSweeney, Councilman Gregory and Supervisor Schaffer on the roll-call items.
No members of the public registered to speak during the public-hearing portion, and there were no comments during the open portion. With no further business, Councilman Martinez moved to adjourn, Councilman McSweeney seconded, and the board voted to adjourn.
