At the May 13 meeting the Town of Oakland Commission moved and unanimously approved appointing Ed Kulikowski, previously an alternate, to a vacant seat on the Planning & Zoning Board.
The mayor called for a motion to appoint Kulikowski after a member resigned. A commissioner made the motion, it was seconded and commissioners voiced their approval. Kulikowski then came forward, raised his right hand and recited the oath of office affirming he would support the Constitution of the United States and obey the laws of the State of Florida and perform duties as a member of the Planning & Zoning Board.
The commission welcomed Kulikowski and thanked him for his willingness to serve. No further conditions or amendments to the appointment were recorded at the meeting.
What’s next: Kulikowski will assume full duties on the Planning & Zoning Board and will participate in hearings and decisions consistent with the town charter and code of ordinances.
