"As vice president for government and community relations, Erin is the university's chief legislative strategist and the lead advocate at the local, state, and federal levels," Cunningham said.
The board welcomed Dr. Michael Davis as assistant vice president and chief of police. The chair noted Chief Davis joined on Jan. 12, described 33 years of law-enforcement experience, and referenced his prior roles with the Minneapolis and Brooklyn Park police departments and service at Northeastern University.
Regents offered congratulations and pledged support for the new leaders. No formal votes were required for the introductions; the board proceeded to routine business after the presentations.
