A subsequent motion awarded grant administration services for a 2025–26 CDBG application to Public Management; staff noted scoring anomalies in vendor proposals tied to inconsistent grant amounts used for pricing comparisons, and the commission elected to award to Public Management by motion and vote.
Development and events The commission approved Resolution 2024-28 authorizing the city manager to execute an extended-term street-use license to allow a developer to construct a sewer service connection in the city's right-of-way for Lot 11 of Cactus Cove. Commissioners also approved the Family Fall Festival event (including street closures and trunk-or-treat activities) and asked staff to coordinate scheduling with downtown construction.
