Commissioners noted recent improvements at Farwell Park — the courts were repaved and new playground equipment is planned before summer — and said the city would coordinate a dedication and plaque placement when weather permits.
The commission’s action was procedural and ceremonial: it did not authorize additional funding beyond existing park improvements. The item was presented early in the meeting and approved by roll call vote.
