OCFA reports 344 incidents in Stanton in February, including two notable fires

The Orange County Fire Authority presented its February 2025 operational report to the Stanton City Council, saying OCFA responded to 344 incidents in the city during the month: seven fires, 242 medical-aid calls, 12 traffic collisions, two hazardous-conditions calls and 81 miscellaneous incidents.
OCFA described two significant structure fires in Stanton during February. One was a residential fire at a fourplex on Pacific Avenue in which crews declared knockdown within minutes and reported no civilian or firefighter casualties. The second was an attic fire at a commercial property on Katella/Hotel Avenue; OCFA crews, assisted by neighboring agencies, opened the roof and extinguished the attic fire and reported a primary search and knockdown shortly after arrival.
OCFA closed by reminding residents of home-safety practices and promoting an upcoming open house at Fire Authority Road; the representative thanked Stanton's leaders for their support and invited residents to the family-friendly event.
