The Springs Prairie Township Board of Supervisors adopted three routine resolutions, scheduled a finance presentation before the next meeting and appointed two volunteers to the Parks and Recreation Committee during its regular meeting.
On the consent and resolutions items, the board adopted Resolution No. 2026-25 authorizing disposition of eligible financial and police records, Resolution No. 2026-26 to close out the Community Conservation Partnership Program grant for the Camp Security Park master plan, and Resolution No. 2026-27 to adopt the 2022 restated and amended nonuniform pension plan following a name change to Mission Square. A supervisor said the pension resolution arose from a recent audit that identified the need for the board resolution after the plan’s administrator changed names.
Manager Mark reported that Jamie Reed scheduled a presentation by Fulton Financial at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd, half an hour prior to the next regular meeting. The board agreed to the schedule.
In new business, after interviewing two candidates, the board moved and approved the appointment of Elizabeth Unger and Arianna (Arianna/Ariana spelled variably in transcript) Garber to the Parks & Rec Committee.
What’s next: routine administrative follow-up for grant closeout paperwork and pension-plan administrative filings; the Fulton Financial presentation is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. prior to the next meeting.
