Springettsbury board approves contracts, collective bargaining agreement and 2026 budget

At its regular meeting the Springettsbury Township Board of Supervisors approved several motions covering contracts, labor agreements, the municipal budget and board appointments.
The board authorized a scope-of-services contract for the East York Pump Station rehabilitation with Boocard Horn (name appears in transcript) not to exceed $124,500. The board also adopted Resolution 2025-59 authorizing the township to enter a collective bargaining agreement with the Springettsbury Township Police Officers Association covering 01/01/2026 through 12/31/2030.
The supervisors adopted the 2026 budget (Resolution 2025-60) and approved the 2026 tax levy (Resolution 2025-61); meeting discussion noted that the board did not raise taxes in the budget presented. The consent agenda (items A through H) was approved earlier in the meeting.
The board took a personnel action by appointing Brian Kaufman to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission following receipt of a resignation from Timothy Staub.
Each item was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote as reflected in the meeting record.
The board adjourned at the conclusion of the agenda.
