Will Smith was honored for a decade of service as the city’s GIS analyst and for engagement with the Venice Theater and community activities.
Council members and the city manager offered short remarks about each employee’s contributions. Clinch said he would spend time visiting departments to hear concerns and ideas, and concluded by thanking staff and the community before the council moved on to the rest of the agenda.
